TallyGenicom (“TallyGenicom”) warrants the Printer (“Product”) enclosed with this warranty statement, if purchased and used in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, to be free of defects in material and workmanship for its warranty period (“Warranty Period”) from the date of original purchase from TallyGenicom or its authorized distributors. TallyGenicom does not warrant, however, that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error free.

How long is the coverage period?

The Warranty Period runs from the date of delivery to the original user-purchaser. Repair or replacement of a defective Product does not extend its Warranty Period or begin a new Warranty Period. Your Warranty Period is based on the type of Product purchased.

All Line Matrix Printers Limited On-Site 90 days parts, labor and travel (within 100 miles of authorized Service Center); remainder of the year–parts only.



Color Laser Printers On-Site One (1) year on parts, labor and travel (within 100 miles of authorized service center).



Mobile Printers Return To Depot One (1) year of service performed by the TallyGenicom Service Center. Includes all labor, parts and return shipping costs. *MIP360i has three (3) years of Return to Depot.



Monochrome Laser Printers Return To Depot One (1) year of service performed by the TallyGenicom Service Center. Includes all labor, parts and return shipping costs. Exception: The 9035, 9045, 9050 & mL450 come with a one (1) year On-Site warranty.



All Serial Matrix Return To Depot

One (1) year of service performed by the TallyGenicom Service Center. Includes all labor, parts and return shipping costs. *T2240/T2340 has two years of Return to Depot repair. T2265/T2280/7265/LA650/LA800 has 90 days on-site coverage plus 9 months parts.



What is excluded under this warranty?

This limited warranty applies to defects in material and workmanship for the printer hardware; any warranty for software, consumables, supplies and or options will be in accordance with the warranty, if any, supplied with those products. This limited warranty does not apply to, and TallyGenicom shall not be responsible for, defects or failures resulting from or caused by: (i) shipping damages or improper storage or handling, (ii) use of, or interaction with, non-GENICOM or non-TallyGenicom brand supplies, print heads, cartridges, consumables or parts, (iii) improper, inadequate or unauthorized maintenance, repair, modification or calibration, (iv) hardware, parts or other materials not supplied by TallyGenicom, (v) misuse or improper installation, (vi) operation outside the applicable manufacturer’s operating specifications, (vii) printer drivers or other software, or (viii) events outside the control of TallyGenicom, such as fire, flood, lightning, or improper electrical current.

In the event that TallyGenicom or it’s authorized service provider determines that the Product is not defective within the terms of this limited warranty, or if the reported failure cannot be reproduced, the customer shall pay all costs of repair (including shipping, travel, labor and parts) at the prevailing rates of TallyGenicom or the service provider, as applicable.
