Some FAQs apply only to specific models, some FAQs apply to all models in the 5000 Series. If a FAQ applies only to specific model/s, the model/s will be noted.
If no model is mentioned, the FAQ applies to all 4490 Series models.

  Setup Information
Forms are aligned OK from received data, but when I press the Formfeed key it doesn't go to top of the next form.

On the 4490XT, is there a way to lockout configuration menus so users can't alter the setup?

  Trouble Shooting

Some trouble shooting procedures require exposing electrical parts and measuring electrical signals, checking moving parts, and/or replacing electrical and mechanical parts. Do NOT attempt any of these procedures if you are not an authorized service agent.
My 4490XT stopped printing and the LCD displayed "St: SMHI". What is wrong?
My 4470XT prints about 50 or 60 pages, then printing slows down and I hear a clicking noise.
What causes NVChksum to be displayed?
The diplay shows "Self Test" and no response from the control panel keys.
