SUMMARY: On 1 October 1996, GENICOM purchased Texas Instruments Printer Business.

DETAILS:

• GENICOM purchased only the TI Printer Business.
• TI's Notebook Business was later sold to Acer.
• The Silent 700 series are terminals, not printers, and were not included in the sale. Contact TI for support.
