microLaser Does Not Print Legal

SUMMARY: A microLaser printer is connected to a Windows system, using a PostScript driver. Legal size documents do not print a full page.

Windows 3.1 Driver Problems

CAUSE: In Windows 3.1, the microLaser PS17 and PS35 drivers that ship with Windows do not properly support legal paper size.

SOLUTION: Install the latest drivers from GENICOM.

Not Enough Memory

CAUSE: PostScript mode requires at least 2.5 MB of RAM in the printer.

SOLUTIONS:

Legal Size Paper Cannot be Selected

CAUSE: The PostScript driver is not properly setup to reflect the memory upgrade.
